I'm not sure it will be valid or not but since they did that, it should mean it's fine as the assistant registrar is assigned by JPN to do it. They should have an exact copy of certificate as yours unless the cert you have and the copy cert they have got different information. He is my own father because he was ill. We got another person to replace the witness. In the certificate, the name was just crossed and the new witness name was written.
