Buying pearl accessories for your wedding? I’m no expert here regarding pearls but I found something pretty interesting in the Internet quite a while ago about how to differentiate fake and real pearls.

To tell whether the pearls are real or not, just rub them over your teeth but I wonder will the shop allow you to do that?!?! If they feel smooth and looks very beautiful, they are fake. Real pearls feel gritty.

In case a pearl necklace/bracelet breaks and the pearls scattered on the floor, don’t bother about picking them up because real pearl necklace/bracelet is individually knotted into place, if the necklace breaks, it won’t scatter all over the floor.
